The wildlife art of Shirley Lynn
Prairie Dog
watercolor - 8"x10"
$275.00 (2006)
After an inspirational trip to the Galapagos Islands in April, 2006, with her parents and daughter, Shirley became inspired to paint wildlife to help raise awareness of what we are doing to our environment. She started painting wildlife from the Galapagos Islands and began a fundraiser to help protect this unique place, donating a percentage of the painting sales to the Galapagos Foundation. This led to paintings of New Mexico wildlife, and in
turn to wildlife from other parts of the world. The focus of all these paintings is to draw attention to the preservation of our natural world.
